Shame on me! Don’t use this for you pets. First ingredient is Sorbitol! My dog became very ill the first time I used it to brush her teeth! She was sick for two days vomiting and not eating. I switched from Vets Best thought she would enjoy the flavor, I should have read the ingredients learned my lesson. Vets Best is made and distributed here in the USA. No Sorbitol and natural ingredients, never any problems. Ordered Vets Best again and will continue to use it!

My chi/it. Greyhound mix hates getting his teeth brushed. His gums are super sensitive and they bleed and it basically never did anything for the build up starting in his mouth. I’ve used a few other toothpastes, but none have had any results from weeks of nearly daily brushing…after one use of C.E.T. My pup has had noticeably whiter teeth! After his second brushing and with the help of my finger nail, the black ring of buildup at his gum line just SLID off without effort! Of course, my pup gets impatient so I’ve only gotten to work on one side of his teeth so I have a great side-to-side comparison of how his teeth look before and after with only two uses! Will update again in a few weeks.

I have been buying this toothpaste every time i need it.
This time i received two brown toothpaste.
At that time, i didn’t think much and gave it to my dog.
After i gave it to them, i went on Amazon and found some of the review stating their dog have been sick and vomiting after the use of brown toothpaste.
I was scared, and i return it immediately.
You can see the picture after i squeezed about 1/3 of the toothpaste out it became white.
I was wondering why the toothpaste turned brown.
I will continue to monitor my dog and see if anything wrong with them.
I will try to update my review and document it so other customers are able to know what to do when they received a brown toothpaste in the future.

Use with care. For months my 4 lb Maltese had really loose stool and vomiting to the point where she went through a battery of tests that were not only expensive but the dog was sick constantly. The Vet told me she had liver dysfunction but after an ultrasound and other tests the end result was inconclusive. I had used a full tube of this toothpaste and ordered another but it took several days to get it. During that time it was noticed her stool got firm without the help of medication for the first time in a very long time. I threw out the tube when it came and now use a toothpaste without sorbitol in it which is what I believe made her so sick. Maybe she is too small but no product made for animals should use ingredients that are known to cause soft stool in dogs. I would avoid toothpaste with sorbitol.

I’m not sure about this stuff. It didn’t come sealed and the box it came in was crushed. I decided to use it anyways and every time I use it on my cats gums, he gets some kind of sores on/around his mouth/lip area. At first I didn’t attribute it to this but after laying off using this it healed. Then I went back to using this and he got sores again! No idea what is causing this but I’m afraid to use it now. Maybe it’s an ingredient that doesn’t agree with him or maybe I got a bad product?! I’d love to know as we need something for oral health!

It must have been a spoiled batch although the expiration date isn’t until 2020. I’ve purchased this toothpaste for the past 3 years and it’s always been an ivory-colored paste. This tube squeezed out a brown goo initially and much of the rest was a light brown (see pics). The rest squeezed out the regular color, but I was worried it would make my dog sick to use it…
I thought purchasing directly from Amazon was safer than from 3rd party vendors and am disappointed. I requested a return for a replacement.

There has either been a change in formulation or factory error. Use to be a brown paste. This is now a clear gel, that doesn’t smell like beef and tastes sweet. There are reported cases that the wrong product is loaded into tubes, and I hope that is not the case. If there has been a drastic formula change, the company needs to repackage. AND my dog also doesn’t like it, which makes me suspicious that this may not be the intended product.

Dog started vomiting and gotten sick (loss of appetite, low energy etc) after I begun use of this product. Other review has mentioned that some tubes are moldy or otherwise gone bad. My tube also didn’t come with a safety seal.
Don’t buy this as the quality assurance seems to be quite subpar.

Got Vanilla toothpaste and there is a disgusting brown goo in it. I looked around and seems others who have this toothpaste say its supposed to be white at most off white. Dont know wtf it is but I cant give my dog this. It wasnt even sealed so I really cant be sure. Now I have to spend time packing it up and sending it back for a refund. I think its ridiculous to send a faulty possibly dangerous or old item and not give an instant refund.

I usually swear by this product for my cats, have been ordering it for years. Unfortunately there was mould in the most recent tube we purchased, so I’m quite disappointed, especially given the price. Relieved at least that it was at the top of the tube so I didn’t give any of it to the cats.
