I’ve only had this a week or so, but i placed in front of the litter box, and it is capturing most of the litter my two rambunctious boys manage to spill out. Have been looking for something to relieve me from vacuuming the area around the litter box daily, and this seems to be a good answer.

OMG this is the best litter mat ever. I have three cats, two are large and very furry. Their paws track litter everywhere – even using other rubber/silicone litter mats.
This is doubly important now with working out at home on my living room floor every day because of covid. The litter boxes are near (not in) the living room. I was getting really tired of having to sweep and steam mop my living room every day because of kitty litter.
This one is also heavy enough to stay put. For whatever reason my cats like having wrestling matches and playing tag by the litter boxes and the other mats I have end up up to five feet away from the boxes.
One of my cats (that one full of love and fun and mischief) likes just laying on the mat. So apparently it’s a cat mat as well.
Highly recommend! I’d even pay double the price I did for it (but very glad it’s such a great price.

I would say the product works. But has several key points to determine HOW WELL it actually works;
1. Brand of litter – if it doesn’t clump. Don’t get your panties in a bunch. Non clumping litter will still scatter
2. Breed and age of cat – some are active and act like bunnies.
My Scottish Fold(8 hooman years)is clean and leaves almost no mess(she’s prob a clean freak). She’s also not too active and maybe a little overweight.
My gfs Russian Blue(2 hooman years)like to stay clean too. But acts like a bunny when coming out of the litter box. He’s pudge like a penguin lol.
3. What kind/size of litter box – ours is a huge one and gives enough space for them to get in and out. Mat is placed in front to catch litter.
Good product and good intentions.
But it would be a few inches longer to help out.
Follow instructions to help with the folding/creases in the product. I did the flat and weighted down for a hr then did blow dryer them immediately put under weight again for another hour. Worked well but will not get everything.
So don’t go bald trying to get it perfectly flat.
I never emptied it out I just vacuum over it lol. Why bother doing 2 things just do one.

I don’t have a lot of space, so naturally my cat’s litter box would be in a high traffic area. I’ve tried to minimize scatter of his litter using other kinds of silicone mats with the little spikes in them, but none of them really worked, and a hassle to clean.
I thought I’d bite the bullet and try this one for a bit more than I’d usually spend on a litter box mat. And voila! It was very worth the money. I use the typical kind of litter from Arm & Hammer, and I haven’t seen a single piece of litter outside the mat. I can see where the litter is trapped. The overall size of the mat is big enough for my chonk of a cat to walk a few steps when leaving the litter box too. The cleaning method is very simple and effective as well. They included a little instruction sheet on common concerns. The new product smell went away very fast, and it flattens with a little bit of heat from a hairdryer. They even offer a warranty on it! I totally recommended this to my cat owning friends.

These are amazing! I bought one to try and then ordered 3 more the following day. Perfect size and have reduced the amount of litter tracked from the basement to the stairs by at least 85-90%. Price was reasonable as well and they’re well-made and high quality (can’t compare to the other, more expensive brand because I never tried it).

I was pleased to receive this new litter mat and find that it works very well. The litter falls down the holes and is not seen so it looks clean all the time. Very few granules are being tracked off the mat and I see the litter falling down through to the lower layer to be poured out later. I did not find this mat to be curled up excessively as I read in other reviews. It was folded into four parts and flattened out with my heavy litter box on top of it for a day or two.
I previously owned two mats purchased at Walmart and found them to be gross because the squishy plastic fibers trap the litter but don’t release it well. (See photos.)

Apparently this litter mat doubles as a comfy bed. Going from no litter mat in for this box to using this new mat there is a noticeable decrease in litter strewn across the floor, which is what I wanted. The cats certainly don’t mind the texture so they have no problems with it either. Would recommend.

OMG, this is the perfect mat to collect all that unwanted cat litter. Not just that but I have one cat who loves to use it as a scratching post kinda of thing. Super durable, easy to get the stuff left in the mat dumped back in the box.
So so happy, will be getting another one soon for the downstairs box too. Or maybe just for them to use to scratch on.
At times there is some of the litter around the front end but non towards the back where we step.

This mat is great and totally traps the litter so I am saved from cleaning it up twice a day. When I want to clean it I just dump the litter back into the box. This is also a great value as I have seen others like this that were smaller and more expensive. It did take several days for it to finally lay flat despite weighing it down with heavy books

Uh, this thing is amazing!!! I can’t believe how well it traps cat litter. There is definitely still the odd piece of litter on the floor, but my one cat has long hair between his toes and almost always tracks some all through the house. This has helped contain any little pieces to just around the perimeter of the litter box, and now I only have to sweep every couple of days instead of 3 to 4 times a day. Very easy to clean as well! The only complaint I would make, is that even after having it for about a month, it’s still creased/warped from the way it was packaged inside the box.

We have six indoor cats using a total of 8 litter boxes in various areas of our home. There are two areas where the boxes are used most, and our cats tend to get a little wild and crazy flinging litter around. So I was really hoping these litter mats would help to lessen that problem.
The mats arrive folded in a plastic bag. It takes a few days for the folds to straighten out, but tips are offered on an enclosed slip to accelerate that process. The mats I ordered are the larger size. As pictured on Amazon, each mat is actually two mats sewn together with the upper mat having holes into which cat litter can fall to gather in the pocket formed by the two mats together. One end of the mat is open so the litter inside can be poured out. Or, if preferred, you can use a vacuum to vacuum litter out from above.
In concept this seemed like a great solution, although it is most effective if cats enter and exit the litter box from one side. If not, you really need more than just one mat to catch stray litter unless the litter box is small. In our case, we have 3 litter boxes side by side against a wall. I put the mats underneath so that there is about a 6 inch area of mat around the sides of the boxes that aren’t against the wall. This does trap most of the litter, but some still gets past the edges. To empty the mats we have to pick up all of the litter boxes in order to pull the mats up to dump them back in the box. But these mats do precisely what they claim to do.
When I first posted this review I was contacted by the seller who went above and beyond reasonable expectations to offer solutions to make sure I was completely satisfied with their product. This was quite unexpected, but the seller really went out of their way to make sure everything worked out well. You cannot beat that kind of product support.
In summary, these mats are well made, and in concept are a great idea. Those who have large or multiple litter boxes, especially uncovered ones, will likely need more than one mat. But they function as advertised, and the seller’s product support is outstanding.

This litter mat is a life saver. I was facing a real issue with my two new kittens tracking litter EVERYWHERE so much so that I was considering switching from the litter that I love to something non tracking but with no good alternatives. Much research later, I come across this mat. I will say it was bigger and more square than I thought, but I think that is a good thing! It is so large and covers the area well. Now the litter tracking is 99% contained! Best litter mat I have ever had!

The litter was everywhere. It was as if my cat enjoyed rolling around in it and then dropped a little as he went in order to find his way back. I tried a little pad, a towel, a mat and a bath mat. Still the evil litter was winning. This math takes the little and it seems to knock it off of his feet too. Then after one week we lifted it up and poured it all back into the litter. It’s great!
