I had to fly with my 10lb chihuahua so I bought it for the travel. I have used other normal travel carrier before but it’s honestly uncomfortable for him bc there is not enough room. This one is great, I was able to expand the carrier, and he can get comfortable under the seat. I also use it for road trips so he can get comfortable in the backseat. As you can see in the photo, he was very tired after our hike, and passed out in the carrier. However my carrier arrived partially collapsed. One corner of it it’s just sort of dented. But otherwise everything else is great.

It was my dogs first time flying and I must say this carrier is fantastic! It fits the measurement requirements for American Airlines and fit perfectly underneath the seat. It was incredibly helpful to know I can change the carrier into a backpack once I got off the plan too because it made things easier for me and my pup. Don’t second guess this carrier because it’s financially well worth all the versatile ways you can use this carrier.

This carrier does not hold its shape as stated in the product listing. I like the material it’s made with but it definitely needs rod’s to hold the top up. It collapsed within 20 minutes of it being out of the box. I returned this carrier and will be purchasing a different one.

For $50, I imagined I’d get more use out of this but it barely survived the unboxing. This is built for humans and not for pets – pretty but not functional. Please see photos.
-The velcro to hold the pad either did exist (main section) or it was both soft parts (sides) and thus didn’t stick at all and the pad will swerve around in the carrier.
-The case didn’t hold the shape when the 15 week cat sat on it and is permanently creased – holds no shape.
-The netting is merely string and couldn’t survive being walked on without snagging. If an animal is frightened, I do not seeing this containing an animal with claws or teeth.
-The backpack straps are great and tuck away nicely when not needed. However, when stood upright, there’s no padding at the bottom.

Pros: this carrier maintains its shape while assembled and seems to have fairly sturdy construction
Cons: this carrier does not work as a backpack at all. They are assuming you’ll be using the hand straps as the shoulder straps which 1) is EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. The straps are not adjustable and are very awkward. It’s obvious that they were not designed to be backpack straps and they have no padding. Also if you wear it as a backpack you have to wear it with the mesh air port against your back. This dramatically limits airflow to your pet and means that they won’t be able to see out. If anyone is taller than I am (5’3”) there is absolutely no way that they will even be able to attempt to use the handles as shoulder straps. The maker really needs to stop calling this backpack because it absolutely isn’t.

The pet travel carrier bag is extremely sturdy and durable! It also provides a lot of extra space for my cat with the opening sections so she feels less stressed during car rides. Highly recommended!

I just received the product and I am impressed so far. Well designed and thought out and even has backpacking straps to carry your kittles on your next excursion. The whole thing is cleverly designed and seems durable except possibly for the zippers. The zippers could be the weak point. We will see. Anyway, I like this much better than the hard carrier I have (although the hard carrier will provide better protection if cats are attacked). This thing folds up too if you want to pack it away.

I originally bought a carrier that was a backpack solely, but I quickly realized that there was not going to be enough space for our little miniature dachshund. She is only four months old, but we are taking her with us while we visit family across country.
This carrier is nice because it does have different carrying styles. There are backpack straps that are hidden by a flap on the backside (super convenient). It also comes with a shoulder strap and a collapsible water bowl.
Our puppy immediately went into the carrier when I fully popped it open. I threw a few treats and a kong filled with peanut butter and she was completely relaxed. It was a nice surprise that one side pops out in front, so that way on the plane she can have a little extra room before we take off. I have not flown yet with her, but I will update the post IF something goes wrong with it.
The material is sturdy, the structure stays open the entire time, multiple zippers that give you different options of what you want open at one time, and it is very easy to fold down for storage purposes. Also, I believe this carrier is the exact dimensions required for airlines, but since it is a soft carrier you are able to squish it down.
For reference – miniature dachshund puppy, (though our fully grown 12 pounds miniature dachshund went in + lied down with no problem), 7.5-8 pounds.
