A pesar de su poco almacenamiento, no es nada lenta y realiza muy bien las funciones básicas.

First of all, it arrived quickly and in a fully protected box. It has no damage and physically it looks perfect.
Keyboard is especially one of my favorite parts of it because I can comfortably type.

It has very limited amount of storage space, so I think it’s wise to get a microSD card or an external SSD to extend the storage capacity. Although it’s only has four gigabytes of RAM it isn’t working as slowly as I expected, possibly because I’m only using it for productivity purposes.

I think it would be the perfect laptop if you’re only using it for the productivity tools, online work and not anything extensive like online gaming. It has a long battery life about 10 hours more or less, the display is okay not very high quality and the camera quality is poor but it gets the job done.

I think it’s one of my best purchases yet though and i hope it lasts throughout college.

This laptop has been out of the box and set up for less than an hour, and it is piping hot on the bottom. I can already see that this laptop will die within two years because it is cheap. Poor quality.

Upon set up, you are also forced into making the decision to keep or switch out of S Mode. With S Mode, you can only use Microsoft Edge as your Internet browser. Once you switch, you cannot go back.

Since my investment was only $209, I will keep this laptop until it becomes dysfunctional.

Absolute piece of garbage. Overheats constantly and doesn’t have the power to process the simplest task. Returned an hour after set up.

Wow I can’t believe this laptop. I just needed a laptop with Windows for work. I have a macbook and my job’s remote tools weren’t compatible with apple so I did not want to spend too much on a laptop. It worked great the 1st day so happy that it was pretty good for the price. Now when I try turn it on it is rebooting constantly. I can’t even select a command or anything.

*Edited to add – I’m watching YouTube videos and now it’s fixed but dunno if I should keep it…

This Lenovo laptop looks cute and has a good display, it has around 32-36GB of free space after Windows+Office, storage won’t be a problem if you store your data in the cloud, with just 4GB of ram do not expect to run many programs at the same time.

Long story short, if you want to buy a basic laptop and add extra ram and storage later, this laptop is not for you.

I thought that this laptop would be junk, because most of them that cost less than $300 are junk. But it’s actually really good for the price, it definitely does have some limitations related to performance, but for for $250, I think this is a nice laptop for web browsing and simple applications. This is not for gaming or CPU intensive tasks, it can basically do what chromebooks can do, but with the advantage of being able to run windows apps from the Microsoft store and from the web. You have to turn off “S Mode”, to be able to install apps from the web, but it’s really simple and it will prompt you, the first time you try to run an .exe file.

The exterior is really modern looking and has a light blue color, which gives the laptop a unique and refreshing look to it. The screen is your basic 1366×768 LCD panel, the cheaper TN kind of display that you will find on almost all laptops that cost less than $400. It doesn’t have the best viewing angles and the colors shift when you are too far off axis of looking at it from a 90 degree angle. It’s not all that vibrant or pretty, but to be honest, this is the kind of screen you get at this price point, it is what it is. Webcam is also your run of the mill, 640×480 (0.3 Megapixel), potato camera. This is actually slightly lower resolution than a typical webcam which are usually 1280×720. At least there is a nice bright LED to indicate that the camera is being accessed, this is a good privacy feature. The keyboard is above average for this price, I actually like it. Typing on it isn’t bad at all, the white letters against the black keys make it pretty easy to see in low light. The trackpad is made from plastic, but it is a nice size and is smooth to scroll on and easy to click. It’s programmed with the standard gestures used in Windows 10. I have seen worse trackpads on more expensive laptops. The screen can tilt way back on this, I really like this feature, it won’t go all the way around like a 2 in 1, but farther than a lot of laptops.

The internal specs are kind of ruff to be honest, but I’m trying to remind myself that for the price, this is about average. Intel Celeron N4020, this is a dual core CPU that is pretty much an entry level processor. It’s not very fast, but it will do what it needs to do for anything you do on the web using a browser, as well as handling simple applications like Microsoft word or playing videos locally using a media player like VLC. It shouldn’t have too much of a problem with Zoom or Skype calls. This laptop doesn’t have a fan, so it’s passively cooled. Playing games like Fortnight or Warzone is just not gonna be possible for this laptop. It only has 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage (half of which is already taken up by Windows). There is no way to upgrade the storage or anything else here, the way it comes out of the box is what you are stuck with. But as long as you just need a laptop for basic, everyday tasks, then this computer will be fine for that. I normally use a laptop with a quad-core i7 from 2020, and this laptop doesn’t feel that much slower for loading webpages or launching apps. I noticed that windows updates aren’t as fast, but that’s probably because the storage is eMMC based instead of NVMe (SSD). I recommend getting an external SSD, or at least a USB flash drive, to have more storage for files and apps. It has a Micro SD slot too, but I would advise you to use what I mentioned instead of a Micro SD card, because it will be a lot faster using the USB ports. The USB ports are 3.2 gen 1 (formerly known as 3.0), so they can transfer data at up to 5 Gigabits per second. This is much faster than the Micro SD slot will be (assuming you are using an external SSD). If you are only gonna buy a flash drive, then there won’t be much of an advantage over using Micro SD cards. There is also an HDMI port if you want to connect an additional monitor, or just use a larger one.

This laptop isn’t a powerhouse, and it lacks a lot of the bells and whistles you would get on a premium laptop. But not everyone needs the extra power and high end features. This is a good laptop that will serve you well, as long as you understand what it’s intended for. There are plenty of laptops our there that cost more than this and offer the same thing or even less, I think this Lenovo Ideapad 1 is a good value for the money. It’s modern looking with smaller sized bezels around the screen and has a good keyboard.

    Pros+

Nice modern looking design with cool blue color

    Affordable

    Good keyboard and trackpad

    Thin, lightweight, and quiet

    Decent battery life (6-8 hours)

Decent port selection (2x USB A@5Gbps, Micro SD, HDMI, 3.5mm Aux jack)

Includes $80 of extra value, Microsoft 365 personal subscription for 12 months (can be added to 5 devices)

    Cons-

Celeron 4020 paired with 4GB of RAM limits what you can do with this laptop

No way to upgrade the RAM or Storage

    Only 64GB of eMMC storage

I like that it fast loading, has cool features, you can personalize it the way you like. Very reasonably priced. You don’t have to pay a lot to get good quality. It is light weight and is secure with code so nobody can into it unless they know the code. I would highly recommend this laptop.
