I purchased this specifically because it claims to hold 50lbs of dry dog/cat food and it’s on wheels! I thought this would be a perfect fit and make feeding the dog a whole lot easier for my son.
Recieved on time, great packaging and condition. Couldn’t wait for my new bag of dog food to be delivered. The day has come and I excitedly opened the 35lb bag of dog food to pour in… low and behold this container does not even hold 35lbs of dry dog food. I was able to pour about 3/4 of the bag into the container… luckily for me Royal Canine bags ziplock back up. Still disappointed that I couldn’t pour it all in there.
Four stars because the container moves around easily, is easy to open and close. Minus a star for not holding as much as I was believed to think.

Did NOT come with the casters as advertised and the lid does not stay closed very well. I’ve purchased a different IRIS brand pet food container before and the quality was way better so I question if this is actually the same company. I am returning this one and ordering the same one as I had last time. I chose this one because it was quite a bit cheaper than others of that size but I can see why now.

Bought this because the reviews were mostly good and so far it’s been good. I can fit a 28 lb bag of large dog kibble and there is still room for about another 10 lbs of kibble! The seal looks ok and works better than keeping it in the dog food bag and trying to keep it sealed for freshness.

The product doesn’t store 55 lbs of dog food. I buy a 50 pound bag and I’m left 20 lbs. Also it doesn’t seal tight. Very deceitful.

My cats have a tendency to work their way into a sealed cat chow bag, but with this container they cannot get in. I don’t dump the food directly into the plastic storage container, I put the bag right into the container. That way when it’s empty, I just pull the whole bag out and put in the new. I really like doing it this way. I buy Purina 20 lb cat chow bags and cut the top of the bag all the way across and just set it like that into the container. I actually bought a second container which has a screw on lid at the same time as this one to compare them, but this one is much easier to use. I feel like the only thing that they can improve on is to make it seal a bit more snug, but I these still are my favorite cat food containers.

This just arrived and I immediately filled it with a 22 pound bag of cat food. It fit beautifully and it is sealed tightly, which i appreciate. Wheels were included which makes it quite versatile. I also like the fact that it is fairly narrow in width so was able to fit into the space I had anticipated for it. I highly recommend this for all pet lovers. Will be ordering another for my dog’s food. BTW, after adding 22 pounds of cat food, there is room for quite a lot more that can be added.

The storage bin was just perfect for 50 pound bags of dog food, no left over left in the bag. For me this meant no crowding a closet floor space or placing in the garage where the mice could get at it. The bin(s) I bought 2, are easy to roll out which I do as the product is used up and I have to scoop deeper. Clear viewing of product as well, which is a good reminder to add food to the shopping list. I recommend this container.

I have been humming and hawing about kibble containers for such a long time. I decided on this one because of the wheels. I purchased two of them, one for cat food and one for dog food. I have a very small pantry and these two containers fit side by side beautifully. The locks may not ‘click’ shut but as long as the containers keep whatever bugs out I’ll be very happy. I just pull out the one I need and then slide it back into the cupboard. They are compact, high, so they hold a lot of food….really happy with this purchase. I don’t have these big bags of food that I used to struggle with, and as you know, some bags have no closures and the ones that do don’t work half the time anyway.

When I was looking for a bin to put our orange bag plastics in (we’re part of the hefty orange bag pilot project) prices were so high and the sizing wasn’t right. We already had one of these bins and I realized that it would be perfect for this use as well! And my orange bag fits perfectly! Super happy!

Using these to stor malt for brewing. Each fits ~1.5 25 kg (55 lb) bags of malt. Malt stays dry and fresh, even in my damp basement. Only downside is they smelled strongly of plastic when you get them, so they need to be aired out for a week or so before use.

I was really looking forward to getting this product, because I am so sick of huge 55 to 60 pound dog food bags half open as an invitation to mice and other critters. I wanted to keep my girls’ food in a convenient storage container on wheels where I can easily wheel the container when full wherever I needed it to go and still easily access their food on a daily basis for their regular feeding schedule. However there were no wheels! That completely defeated the purpose of the purchase for me. So I boxed it right up and sent it back. I will not waste my time with this product again. I decided to go with Buddyeez instead. I am very pleased with Buddyeez. Plus it can hold more food and has a food dispenser scoop and on wheels.

I bought a 33qt and a 47qt rolling container for my pet food following an infestation of pantry beetles. 33qt holds the 16lb cat food bag with plenty of space to spare, 47qt holds the 30lb bag of dog food snug. The label on the 47qt says up to 32lbs, which would be great info to put on the Amazon page for shoppers to judge by. No label on the 33qt, so I’d estimate it could hold up to 20lbs. I don’t plan on emptying the bags into it, but continuing to slide the whole bag into the container, which will help retain freshness. I can’t say if the seal is tight enough to be truly airtight, but it’s definitely bug tight.
