It was hard to find a good carrier that was tall enough for my rat terrier (shoulder 12” off ground). This is perfect and then the back extension was perfect for the airplane.
I do wish the bottom was more sturdy because I can tell it’s not comfortable for her in there when I pick her up in it. So I try not to have it on/held up in the air.

I got this as a gift for my sister’s cat, but I am thinking of getting one myself! The design is so space effective, and can fold all the way down to the size of a pair of pants for storage (or to fit into a box for Christmas gift wrapping!) There is a leash buckle on the inside that is a little out of place since you don’t need your pet on a leash inside the carrier, and some cats may want to chew on it, but other than that, the design is pretty sound. I will say that I took my 14-lb cat on a short walk with it, and it was a bit of a tight squeeze for him. I would say any cat much larger than this would be very uncomfortable inside this carrier. Other than that, it’s fantastic!

LOVE IT! This product is big and sturdy. It has a zippered area on the top on the carrier, a zippered area on the back of the carrier plus it has an enclosed area that expands outward for your pet to have a comfortable medium space to move around in. The feel while wearing or carrying on your back is that of a bookbag with your cat or dog in it. Lol!

Plenty of mesh windows.
The padded straps are adjustable & comfy.
The expanding mesh room is great & easy to use.
Smaller cat (9 lb) fits best, but even my bigger cat (14 lb) can use it.
The negative is that the waist straps aren’t long enough to go around my pudgy belly (but it’s use isn’t crucial). And the ‘floor’ is adequate enough but a little thin; I’ll create a stronger internal base for the cats to sit on that won’t bend.

This backpack has plenty of wiggle room for my 10 pound cat. I loved being able to hook her in and keep the top open so she could stand up when she wanted to. The pockets on the sides are super useful and the backpack itself is really comfortable to wear. I gave it 4 stars on sturdiness because the bottom pad where she sits or stands folds ever so slightly with her weight. I’m going to cut a piece of plywood the same size to put under the pad reinforce it for her. I love that I can open it up to give her more room to lounge while hanging outside, she can feel protected and have space to lay out. I highly recommend this backpack.

It is so adorable, and my cat seems to like it. He has enough space, and I love how there are a few openings. I usually clip his harness to the strap that’s inside and let him poke his head out of the top. Its not as sturdy as I would like but overall I am very happy with the purchase.

Just buy it! See photos and video. I bought one and upon arrival purchased a second one. I live in Florida and have two Maltese. One that over heats super easily at 9pds and the other afraid of heights 8pds.
You can connect two for a little playpen:)
The zippers feel steady, the material is nice – I feel like it should cost more! I wish embroidering was an option but that’s of course me being extra! It’s just too easy and idk how we functioned before having these.
🙂 pull the back pack straps up as much as possible for your body frame so your fur-child is positioned higher on your back and not bounced by your butt when you walk. BUY IT!
