First I’m extremely upset that during a pandemic this company has decided to take the 150 count box of dog pads from 23 something to 30 dollars & that’s before taxes in the matter of a week or 2. I had bought these pads about 7 times & right when I went to make my 8th purchase I stopped myself. Idk if anyone has ever smelled the scent prior to placing them down but they smell the same way they would if some potty training spray was placed on them. Your dog doesn’t even have to be able to see to get to these. They use their smelling senses the most when pottying so if your pup is missing its not because of the pad itself its because your pup needs more training. They are called “TRAINING” pads for a reason so don’t expect your pup to just walk right over & magically go potty directly on them. My dog catches on quick so he learned to use these within 2 to 3 days. They do take about 30 seconds to absorb but the company isn’t lying about that because they clearly advertise 30 seconds to absorb on ad. I do believe that if you are one who depends more on pads then outdoors then u may want to consider another brand because these are an average size. I always lay one side by side slightly overlapping the other one for my 7 month old pit. He is house broken but due to me being an amputee I have taught my dog to potty on command so when he calls himself trying to be playful but I know he has to go, I simply say POTTY & he knows he needs to handle his business cause many times I can’t move fast enough to get him outdoors so he knows to go on his own or on command. So far my biggest complaint is the price, size & absorbency time. These should absorb immediately yet they do not. These are made to take a number 1 & 2 on, so excuse me if I don’t feel like this much should be paid for an item that feces & urine are being dumped on. I really am offended at how they upped their price right when people are supposedly getting their unemployment. So this company literally thought that it was a good idea to rip ppl off now because they may be getting some income. Not everyone gets that. Some of us live off of fixed income so y’all should be ashamed that you have raised the price to a product that is exactly the same. It is not bigger nor has its absorbency time decreased…..NoPe….u all simply want to take whatever little help a human being has right out of their hands. I didn’t buy these. I ordered a smaller amount & as soon as I can find a way to buy these in stores for cheaper then that’s what I’ll do cause no one is taking advantage of me. I’m going to take a photo of my review in case they try not to post it so I can show ppl the shadiness of this all. Not worth 30 something $…just not! In stores I can find bigger & better brands for way less. So if I were u I’d save & shop elsewhere.

UPDATE: Suddenly this went back down to its regular price so I am back and as long as they don’t pull a stunt like that again I’ll continue being a customer. But the truth is this was only seller who I had respect for since They were the only ones that sold these at a normal and reasonable price & suddenly its like they got money hungry but they’re back to themselves so I appreciate it.

I was hesitant because of some of the negative reviews, so I ordered a smaller package before committing to the high quantity. I have a little three pound ferret. The pads are great at absorbing his puddles. His deposits don’t really smell (so if someone you know has a smelly house with a ferret, suggest they clean the litter box more often…), so I can’t speak to odor control. He had no problem with the color change from white to black, and the black conceals his puddles much better than the white, which makes the room look better overall. I waited specifically one day for him to pee, watched the liquid absorb quickly before my eyes, and checked immediately for leakage. I’ve had no issues, and for the price, I plan to keep buying.

Los tuve que devolver porque no sirven.

Todo se chorrea, para nada tapa el olor. Tengo un cachorro de 4 meses y solo me bastó probar uno para ver que no sirven.

Quizá solo serían medianamente funcionales para un perro Chihuahua.

The claims this product made about the charcoal absorbing the urine and masking the smell are completely valid – to humans. I couldn’t tell which puppy pads were used or which ones were full most of the time. This led to the domino effect of me not realizing certain pads were dirty. This caused me to change only the ones i could see that my dogs used. Which caused my dogs to start peeing on the carpet again near the puppy pads. It was completely counterproductive. I tried to change them more often, but i caught myself changing all of them just to make sure i didn’t leave any old ones behind most of the time. Now i was going to be buying puppy pads all the time, which would be an excessive expensive and worse for the environment because of the excessive waste. Overall just not worth the trouble. Maybe if they made the pad change color if urine touched it that would be better.

I have 3 dogs and a doggy door. However, I have an old lady Chihuahua who simply will not go out at night due to fear. Therefore, we started buying puppy pads to place on the bathroom floor for her at night. These pads are really great for the smell compared to the blue and white ones! Really!!! Those blue ones reek! These black carbon pads absorb the ODOR quickly and the color stays NEUTRAL with the black CARBON lining. Great!

The only problem is that when my little Chihuahua goes potty at night, there is a 50/50 chance that the pee will ROLL OFF THE SIDE of the pad and the pee will be under the pad in the morning when I see it. It looks as if the white edges (there are 2 white edges) of this carbon pad DO NOT LEAK, but the solid black edges do (there are 2 black edges). (See the image of the product to understand that 2 sides have white-lined edges while 2 sides do not.) Some days I have a mess to clean up, but other days it is fine. It simply depends on how close to the edge my little doggy goes potty. If she goes potty in THE VERY MIDDLE, it works just GREAT!! If she is near one of the edges, I might have a MESS IN THE MORNING. The pad only absorbs so quickly, and the gel can only form so fast; however, this does not mean that there should be a leak. I really think the company should work on the binding on all 4 of the edges.

I want to address a few of the other customers who took pictures of their “pads not working” and posted them here with negative reviews. At least 2 of you have used the pads UPSIDE DOWN. Of course, the pad will not absorb pee on the plastic side! You have to put the mesh, webbed CLOTH SIDE UP. The plastic side goes on the bottom. Yikes! Really people!?! If you are someone who rated this product low, but YOU WERE TO BLAME for the product not working, you should be ashamed of yourself and come back to this page for a more accurate and honest assessment of the product. Really!

Also, I want to assert that if your dog uses these every day, you should CHANGE THESE PADS EVERY DAY. I understand that if you have a big dog using these, you might need 2-3 a day, but even then, they cost pennies a day! I got my 100 pack for $17.00. This works out to $.06 a pad. If your dog pees on it, by the end of the day, you should change it! CHANGE IT after a day. You don’t have to change it right after he/she pees on it, but you should be changing these regularly. Come on…don’t blame the manufacturer for defective pee pads when THEY WORK for your dog to pee on but then you don’t change them enough and so your pet goes potty on the carpet next to the pad. Come on. Let’s be logical here. That is not a manufacturing issue. That is a YOU issue. Be kind to your pet. Don’t make him/her step on gooey carbon gel on a plastic pad to go potty. Change it once in a while!
