Love these! They take the guess work out of equation. The guard is a life saver, it allows you to get close but if you get too close you can easily release it. definitely a keeper. I have 2 Doxie’s and their nails grow so darn fast I get tired of paying to get them done twice a month, Now granted you may need a helping hand to calm the pooch , but they work an saves money!

I want to rate this 5 stars because it cuts my dog’s nails so easily. I have had all kinds of nail clippers, I didn’t like any of them. I bought this pair a few weeks and absolutely love them, apparently my dog does also, he sit perfectly still while I trimmed his nails, which he has never done! They are sharp and make a good clean cut without cutting the dogs nails to make them bleed. He is a 9 lb Maltese and a year old. I have a 12 year old Maltapoo and knew I would have trouble cutting her nails, as the older she gets the grumpier she gets, sorta like all of us. She is quite a bit larger than the male. She weighs approximately 18 lbs. I sit her on my lap and she saw the clippers in my hand and got skiddish, she is smarter. Anyway, after one nail trim, she did not flinch at all, she sit perfectly still until I clipped all her nails. She has dark nails so it is hard to see how far to cut, I read on the package instructions to cut a small amount the first time and cut them again the next week, it has worked fine! Better than paying to get their nails cut all the time. They get regular grooming, but their nails grow faster than the hair. I give these clippers 5 stars and the manufacturer 100 stars.
THANK YOU!!!! Great clippers!!! Well worth the price! I would really recommend these clippers.

This pet nail clipper is exactly as described and can’t be beat for the price. Like all other clippers I’ve ever used, the “stop” that keeps the nail from being cut too short moves each time the clipper is used–that is, each time a nail is cut so it must be repositioned each time. I tried tightening the screw/nut and that keeps it in place BUT it’s the same screw/nut that adjusts the handle so when it’s tight enough to keep the stop in place it’s too tight to use the clipper. It’s not a deal breaker just something to be aware of if you rely on that stop, as I do, to ensure you don’t cut your pet’s nail below the quick. The file included with the clipper is not something I would ever use on an animal. I’ll probably throw it in my toolbox as it may come in handy as a cheap file.

I’ve always been in love with this design in clippers. Very easy to use, and probably the best style I have used in my entire veterinary technician career. I will say they are kinda large, but that’s just personal preference on my part. I have cut easily over 300+ dogs toenails, and I use small clippers on every size dog. You don’t need large clippers for a large dog, or medium for medium dogs. I feel with the smaller clippers I have more control and are less likely to take more nail off then desired. That can cause bleeding and be very painful for the dog. These clippers also come with a standard guard, which I usually remove because all dogs nails and quicks grow at very different rates so the guard really doesn’t measure length of trim anyways. Over all even it being larger than I’d like, this design is in my opinion the best on the market. This set I just bought replaced my identical green set that I have been using for over 10 years before replacing it with this new one. They are easy to keep sharp, and easy to take care of and from personal experience will last you for at least 10 years if you take proper care of them. Definitely a good buy!

Great product. It was fast and easy. The dogs still hate the process but using this clipper made it easy to be done with the task in a hurry.

Proud parent of a 10-years-young 70-pound Boxer Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and have had at least one dog in our pack throughout my whole life, so decades of experience trimming canine nails. Also frequently help neighbors with their dogs (all medium to large breeds). These Dudi branded clippers are a very good value for the price and true to listing. Have not experienced any issues with locking mechanism or rotating guard after many uses on numerous dogs. Very sharp and still proving as effective as when first removed from packaging, just keep an eye on that spring. Shouldn’t be much of an issue for smaller breeds but it freely falls out when expanding handle open to accommodate larger nails. Fits right back into place, yet an ongoing annoyance that could’ve easily been remedied with a seating redesign. (Note to Manufacturer: to prevent from becoming dislodged during usage, leave an inner protrusion that snuggly secures inside the spring on both ends instead of drilling to fit the outer diameter alone) Only reason for the 4-Star rating is this occasional spring issue. Would buy again and recommend to others, especially for a mere five dollars. Anything over ten bucks and I’d expect a flawless design where we don’t have to worry about parts slipping out of place. – “If you found this review to be useful then please click HELPFUL button below. For the price I was expecting a cheaply made product but the quality was great. These worked great on my basset hound that has some pretty big tough toenails. This was a great buy!
